I've been with them since December 2020 & no issues. I don't use much data outside of wifi so I opted for the smallest plan, now with 5 gigs of data (I only use 1-2 gigs a month). It's still just $15 per month instead of the $70 Verizon charged. They run off of T-mobile towers.

Things I've Learned
Some of the things I've learned listening to talk radio. It's not all right-wing talking points. Some of these are universal truths we all should agree on. Calm down, open your mind, connect, and enjoy each other.

The war in Iraq is not over

Nope, not by a long shot.

Just heard on the radio how "rebels" are 100 miles from Bahgdad and marching on the capital. Americans are evacuating planeloads of people. The Germans are pulling out. Hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing or already in refugee camps. This all sounds so familiar to me. This is what our leaders call "Ending war responsibly."

Sharia-ism book by Joy Brighton

Category: Blog

I've always been uncomfortable with the whole right-wing/patriotic dumping on Islam since 911. Even going with "radical" Islam or "highjacked" Islam inevitably bleeds over into "good" Muslims who just want to be left alone and have as much to do with 911 as I do with the Crusades.

Joy Brighton has a new book titled, Sharis-ism is Here: The Battle to Control Women - and Everyone Else that brings up the interesting new tactic of Sharia-ism. It separates Muslim out of the equation both in debate and the courtroom.

Sharis-ism book cover

From the page,

In April 2014, the Universities of Michigan, Chicago and Illinois and Brandeis University refused to screen the Honor Diaries,a documentary released the previous month.

By doing so they chose not to acknowledge nine Muslim, Sikh & Christian women rights leaders, who expose the brutal abuse of women and girls justified in the name of religion, culture, “honor” or Shariah. Yes you read this correctly. Some of our country’s most prestigious educational institutions are actively shutting down Free Speech and thereby silencing those trying to reveal the heart-breaking abuse of women. Does Freedom of Religion overrule the abuse of women? Why has violence against women become political? Where does religion end and politics begin?

"My Generation" versus today.

pandora-zeppelin-minaj

I came across this graphic (below) and I've honestly never heard of Nicki Minaj so I looked it up. Good Lord is this what music has degraded to? I don't mean to pick on her specifically and certainly not rap. I mean "white" pop music has plenty of offenders like Justin Bieber to fill up a phone book sized list of pop culture criminals.

Snow in Philly, mass panic, Direct TV drops Weather Channel

Another snowstorm for Philly OMGWTFLOL

Ok more snow and the Media has something to do today with all the reporters out on the roads telling us to stay off the roads. Tip of the hat to Steve Bryant for calling this storm 2 days before The Weather Channel.

Speaking of The Weather Channel (TWC)
So Direct TV dropped The Weather Channel in a fued over rates I guess. Given TWC's policy of naming winter cold fronts I'd say the viewers aren't missing much. I mean I get up to see the forecast early in the morning and TWC is running some stupid show on freak people with this guy called Magnet Man. He's clearly faking things stuck to his body with slabs of things "stuck" to his chest. I guess the host never heard of Friction? You're the WEATHER CHANNEL and it's GOING TO SNOW ... A LOT! How about you know, actually airing some, I dunno... WEATHER?
