I've been with them since December 2020 & no issues. I don't use much data outside of wifi so I opted for the smallest plan, now with 5 gigs of data (I only use 1-2 gigs a month). It's still just $15 per month instead of the $70 Verizon charged. They run off of T-mobile towers.

Chris Stigall starts on 1210

New Morning Man Chris Stigall starts on 1210-AM this morning, 5am to 9am.

Here's a lazy copy and paste ...

Chris brings a unique brand of opinionated talk and humor to mornings on 1210 WPHT.

Chris studied comedy writing and television production as an intern with Late Show with David Letterman in New York. His diverse background also found Chris taking two years away from the microphone to work as a representative and press assistant to U.S. Congressman Sam Graves (MO-06).

Chris has been a contributor to CNN and serves as a guest host for the country’s top talk show hosts including Senator Fred Thompson, Michael Savage, and Lou Dobbs.

Activist Cash

I added a new link - Activist Cash - to the list of clickworthy sites.  They appear to be a right-of-center group countering some high powered left of center front groups.  I came across them researching something quoted on SourceWatch, which itself is a left leaning front group.  The average person can get dizzy trying to figure out who is who and what is bias or real news.

They describe themselves this way ...

ActivistCash.com, a project of the Center for Consumer Freedom http://www.consumerfreedom.com/, provides the public and media with in-depth profiles of anti-consumer activist groups, along with information about the sources of their exorbitant funding.

Despite their innocent-sounding names, many of these organizations are financial Goliaths that use junk science, intimidation tactics, and even threats of violence to push their radical agendas. We've analyzed over 500,000 pages of IRS records to bring you a comprehensive snapshot of where their money comes from, tracking more than $800 million to date.

We also offer valuable information about hundreds of deep-pocketed foundations, activist celebrities, and other key players in the movement to control what you eat and drink.

Larry Mendte writes - We Need Another Talk Radio Station in Philly

Larry Mendte writes - We Need Another Talk Radio Station in Philly.  Although he has some of his facts regarding 1210's upcoming lineup for 2011 mixed up he pulls no punches for his now-former friend, Michael Smerconish ...

Excerpts

And then there’s The Big Talker, WPHT. A station that showed great promise but seems to be crumbling under the weight of its star’s ego. Michael Smerconish is the king of talk in Philadelphia by default. For the past decade, he was the only game in town. He is smart, talented and used to be conservative. But he lost many of his right-leaning listeners when he endorsed Barack Obama for president; and he lost many of his Philadelphia viewers when he syndicated and started talking about Philly like a place he used to live.

The ratings suffered, Smerconish was dropped from Philadelphia magazine’s “Most Powerful” list, and now WPHT is forced to reshuffle. Smerconish is moving to mid-days. A better spot for syndication and TV appearances on MSNBC. In other words, a better spot for Smerconish. As a trade-off, he has agreed to talk about Philadelphia for one hour a day.
